If you’re an Amazon seller or prep center constantly battling box dimension limits, we’ve finally got some refreshing news.
Amazon just updated its FBA box size policy — and it’s actually a win for sellers and 3PLs alike. 🙌
What Changed?
Previously, Amazon enforced a strict limit of 25 inches on all dimensions for FBA inbound boxes — length, width, and height. Even a 26″ long box meant extra labor, penalties, or shipment rejection.
New Box Size Limits for Amazon FBA (Effective June 2025):
Length: Up to 36 inches
Width: Up to 25 inches
Height: Up to 25 inches
This new flexibility helps avoid unnecessary repacking — especially since many standard supplier cartons are just slightly over the old 25” max.
Why This Matters for Sellers
This update can lead to major time and cost savings:
🚫 Less manual repacking
🚚 Faster prep center turnaround
💵 Lower labor costs
🌱 Less waste from extra materials
Whether you’re a private label brand, OA seller, or wholesale giant — this change works in your favor.
